Ellinikā  Mantillia

A Living Archive of Art, Memory & Greek Heritage

Ellinika Mantilia is a body of original artworks and collectible printed scarves by Elena Kos exploring the continuity of Greek memory through color, symbolism, and form.

Rooted in the visual language of the Mediterranean, the collection draws from fragments of ancestral culture — sea, stone, ritual objects, woven textiles, ancient ornamentation, mythology, and the enduring geometry found throughout Greek history.

Through layered compositions and mirrored structures, the works move between contemporary art and cultural remembrance.

Rather than reproducing tradition, Elena Kos reinterprets inherited memory through a contemporary artistic lens — creating works that feel both ancient and immediate.

The collection reflects a dialogue between past and present, personal history and collective identity, material craftsmanship and energetic presence.

Created as both original artworks  and limited-edition  scarves, these pieces are designed to exist intimately in everyday life — to be worn, collected, inherited, and lived with.

Ellinika Mantilia becomes a contemporary continuation of cultural memory: an homage to Greek heritage, artistry, and the timeless language of symbols.
