Light Codes emerges from Elena Kos’s experience of pregnancy, natural birth, and the profound transformation of becoming a mother. Conceived as a meditation on creation, intuition, and the unseen intelligence of the body, the collection explores motherhood not only as a personal passage, but as an elemental and spiritual state of being.
Drawing from the rhythms of nature and the symbolic cosmologies of Andean mythology, the works evoke a visual language of energy, memory, and sacred interconnectedness. Through layered color, luminous abstraction, and immersive presence, Kos approaches light as both material and metaphor — a carrier of ancestral knowledge, feminine force, and emotional resonance.
At once intimate and expansive, Light Codes reflects on the body as a portal of creation and on motherhood as a return to a deeper communion with nature, spirit, and collective memory.
